This project focuses on branding and logos as a part of that. The research point specified looking at logo’s and whilst this could be a lengthy process (branding is everywhere!) I decided to use a method I’d used in a previous research test for analysing logos…
I started by browsing pinterest for logo’s and found a couple of info-graphics about well known logo’s or brands:

These articles offered a helpful breakdown of components of logo’s into, typography, colour, shape, background. I decided to find some examples of logo’s from products around my house and stuck them into my Visual diary. Having stuck them into my visual diary I then photographed the pages to be ready for adjustment in Photoshop:
I then used Photoshop to create a very rough graphic which enlarged the logo’s in circle shapes with analysis written in text boxes around it:
